Hello darlings. It is time for one of the things I have promised in my last post. I have finally written and published one of my books for the first time ever.
The title of the book is Antichrist Superstar. It is a fiction book. I will not go into detail about what it's about ( I don't want to spoil the ending for you.) But, it is an ebook. So, here is the link to it:
https://www.smashwords.com/books/view/316862
The book is $6.00. It is also about 9500 words and around 20 pages.
Happy reading! :DDDDDDDDDD

A Few Announcements Made By Me: A Book & An Essay
Hello. Well, if you follow this blog you will have noticed that I have been offline for quite a while. Well the main reason I was off was my writing and my art has been keeping me busy. And, in manic May, there is only so much that Macabre Midnight can do at a time with school and work and whatnot.
Anyway, I am so thrilled to tell you this news. I am like Uncle Fester in a light bulb factory. Here are the announcements I wanted to make :
- By around June 3rd, I should have published my very first book! ::><-o i="" o="">-o>
It is an ebook, meaning it should be on those little torture devices such as the kindle and the nook and maybe even the iPad. I have to finish some editing with copy write law issues. But, details are to come.
2. Soon, I will be writing an informative essay called countercultures vs. subcultures.
This is self explanatory, and it will have a biography.

Sex-And-The-City Tangeant #4
Hey. It's me again. I realize how long it has been since my last post, but, I am waiting for a response to at least one of my posts before I made another post. That being said, today, I was reading an article
today about a woman who was forced to give up her child because it was a "bastard" when she was about 17. This story began in 1963. One of the reasons she was put up for adoption was her father was Jewish, her mother was Catholic. Now, the adopted child eventually met her birth parents. But, this story was eerily similar to that of my great-grandmother.
You see, my great-grandmother's father was Jewish, her mother was Catholic. However, unlike the child in the above story, my great-grandmother was born in 1929. Also unlike the child in the above story, she never met her father & barely new her mother, & she was raised by her grandparents & aunts, whom I am assuming didn't care that her parents weren't married & just realized she was their first granddaughter & that's all that mattered. Her aunts even rejected marriage to help care for her.
Now, knowing those stories, I have another two. In the 1950s, parents, clergy, etc. were all up in arms over a certain musician known as Elvis Presley. Much later, say, the late 1990s, these same people who grew up arguing with their parents over the morality of Elvis Presley were shaking their bibles & picketing Marilyn Manson concerts.
These two stories bring me to the point of this post: Uptightness: Are modern-years more uptight than the past-years? Or, are older people more uptight?

End Of Book Reflections: Your Life Rights Post 1
Hello, all. I realize it's been awhile since I made a post. I apologize for that. I've been busy, as I work on multiple manuscripts at a time. And, I also have a lot of school work to do at this time of the year, as it is winter where I live, & I haven't had much time to type. I am actually typing this from a school computer, as I have only started typing my manuscripts again recently, & am trying to close out an old system & start a new one.
But, as this post may suggest, I have finished another book. This manuscript happens to be one of my particular favorites. The name of the manuscript is Tears In The Rain. I should get it done by Valentine's Day, as it is a love story. But, the main theme of this book is a bittersweet topic because some of you will have more words on it than I can say her (and, believe me, I try to make these posts be long, & this being one of my particular favorite manuscripts, there are so many themes in that book I could talk about that I could write a manuscript about that.). The reason for that is because you quite possibly live in a non-democratic, non-capitalist society, which don't get me wrong America is not always a walk on the beach to live in either, where you have less of a choice of this thing I am about to talk about this. For the Americans that are reading this post, you probably know a little bit about this theme, but, not to the degree I am about to discuss this about.
Either way, the major theme of Tears In The Rain that I am going to discuss today is your life rights.
In Tears In The Rain, the main male character is a "starving artist" who was born in China (no, literately, the man is a poverty-stricken artist). He has no way of using his life rights of right to a healthy living residence & a fair income. In that same retrospect, the main female character is a wealthy woman who is being forced to marry a rich man by her stepfather. She has no way of using her life rights of right to fall in love & right to be married to a man who loves her despite her beauty & wealth, & sees her as human and not a toy.
So, yeah, you probably get the gist of where I am going. I am talking for the first time about the inalienable rights every human has. There will be several posts about this since I am American & have a sense this post will earn me my first comment.
Anyway, there are several human rights everyone is born with. But, the main reason I am talking about this is that there are so many places & times & dates at which we can't choose. Now, I'm all que ser ra, ser ra as much as the next guy you'll meet. But, there's a difference between my que ser ra, que ser ra & que ser ra in a country like, oh I don't know, Pakistan.
In many countries in the Middle East & Africa & parts of Asia, & I don't really know why this is, you have no way of accessing your life rights. Everything, from the car you drive to the man/woman you spend your life with, is decided by someone, mostly the government. In those countries, I bet my left arm that if you even begin to read half of the posts on this blog, you'll be in jail before you can even say "AspieGoth". I don't have to use an example for this, as if you live in this type of country, probably know it already.
In so many other countries, you have some control of your life rights, but, not much. Again, as a US citizen, I'm not sure why. But, just like I said before, you'd probably get arrested for reading this blog. One example of this (and, I'm not sure about if they changed this or not) is that in Russia, Goths, Emos, & people of the Heavy Metal subculture/religion (half of England follows Heavy Metal as an official religion apparently) cannot sell their music online or go into a government building dressed as the people of their subculture (Which is why I must send a shout out to Russia, as the second biggest demographic of blog readers come from Russia. I'm sorry your government only elects idiots for leaders! :-I)
On that note, I leave this post up for discussion.

The AspieGoth? Blog
Hello. Today is Monday, November 14th, 2012. I am currently sitting at a Mac, which is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay different from a PC. So, bear with me here.
Anyway, recently, as in very, very, very very, recently, I was seeing the main source of traffic for this here blog. By seeing, I mean, I was trying to see where half of you come from, and why you are reading my blog, & how you got here. (This was before I posted my last two posts, just in case you were wondering.) Either way, I clicked on the one traffic source. And, it took me to a search on Google UK. Now, this search was for the topic "Why are so many people with Asperger's Syndrome Goths?"
Other than some other blogs about similar topics, (hey fellow dark guardians of the internet :)), there were some websites written by psychologists, psychiatrists, pediatricians, etc, etc about this particular topic. There were even, to my suprise, some parenting websites talking about this particular subjects. And, on a side note, there even was a page on GodhatesGoths.com on how "God hates Retards". That's a side note becaus this post is not about them (*cough * bigots *cough*).
Anyway, what these sites & blogs all seemed to ask the same question (aside from GodhatesGoths.com). Why are so many people with Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism that severely hinders social functions & queues, Goths, members of an elite subculture that, stereotypically, glorifies depression, homicide/suicide, teen angst, & follow Satanism under the Marilyn Manson, Pretty Reckless, Evanescence denominations, & dress like Abby from NCIS' children?
Well, as I referred to the above stereotype overload, & as I read the websites basically ALL ASKING THE SAME THING, I had to sit back for a moment. After a moment, (and some deep (and, I do mean DEEP) breathing exercises) I decided to write a little essay/lecture/tangent from the viewpoint of an AspieGoth on why there are (apparently) so many "Aspie Goths".
Let's begin with something that I will assume is partway fact & not opinion since it is true for me: Most AspieGoths were diagnosed with the disorder/syndrome/disease/ailment thing known as Asperger's Syndrome BEFORE they discovered the subculture/culture/lifestyle to which they became accustomed to. I was only watching cartoons that showed the subculture to me & introduced me to it when I was diagnosed.
Next, the main reason for this is also (I think) two reasons. The first one is that a lot of Asperger's/Autistic people are strange. I personally only stayed with the subculture because I really do not fit in anywhere else. My mother in hindsight has admitted this once to me.
The second reason I think is that a looooot of Asperger's/autistic people are, by nature, nonconformists. They aren't neccessarily all Goths like me. But, by nature, most Asperger's/autistic people don't obey society's rules because they can not understand them simply. Now, that being said, just because someone's autistic/Asperger's does not make them a nonconformist. And, just because someone's a nonconformist does not make them autistic/Asperger's. There. I feel better already.
Well, there's my opinion on the matter. What's yours?

Announcing Savant
Hey. It's me again. I am very sorry about the lapse in posts. It's just that my manuscripts are keeping me busy, & I have school, which the pace is going way too fast for me, & I am doing more with my life than when I started this blog months ago. So, these posts may not come at a constant rate, so, it could be a while between posts. But, anywho, I am making this blog about a book that I am lock, stock, & barrel done with. I finished writing & typing it in July, but, I have been too incredibly busy to post its pictures.
Until now.
First, here is the cover of Savant:
Now, here are the illustrations:

Well, those are Savant's illustrations & cover. I hope you enjoy them

The Song That Got Away
Hey. It's me again. I'm sorry. I'm ridiculously busy, so, forgive me if I seem off-task writing these posts.
Anywho, I am writing this blog about something that is a very important issue: a song.
You see, in addition to being a Goth, I am a hard rock fan. And, there is a song that is on my beloved wishlist for my Ipod. This song I was listening to music by similar lineups of this band when I came upon a song by this band. Wondering whether it was one lineup or another, I clicked on this song. And, to my amazement, I found one of the most amazing songs I have ever heard. This song right then & there inspired the manuscript Zombie Heart (and while it was at it, improved Savant). This song felt like flight. I was inspired by this song to walk around my house. And, now, you may be wondering what exactly is the song I am now blogging about. Well, you're in luck, dear reader. The song I am blogging about is "Valhalla" by Black Sabbath, off of the Tyr album.
But, here's the thing: When I looked up this song on iTunes, iTunes had other songs under this title, but, they did not have it. Neither did they have it under Black Sabbath or Tyr. They had other things, but, not what I had in mind. And, so, the only place I can find this song is the internet. I don't know why.
So, there's the blog about the song that got away.

End of A Book Reflections:Intuition
Hello. This is going to be short as I can't think of what all to say. But, I have finished a book. And, I want to reflect on one of the main themes of the book: Intuition.
The main character in Savant used his intuition to figure out who the villain was. The way he did that, use your intuition every day.
That's the best I can come up with. Good bye.

Hell Hath No Fury Like An Asperger's-Goth-Girl Scorned
Just to warn you: I have visited many other blogs, & I do realize that most of the blogs out there are about families & churches who will not agree with what you are about to read. I have really only seen two subculture representative blogs while exploring this site. So, if you are a pastor, a preacher, a family man, or, for any other reason are appalled by profanity, DO NOT READ THIS FUCKING POST!!!!!!!!!!

(*A side note #1: No, I do not own any of the pictures you are going to see in this post, which means this picture of Marilyn Manson is not mine. A side note #2: I would like to thank my pug for not puking on me or the carpet when I looked for this image with you in hand to curb my anxiety about seeing this guy's face.)
Anyway, you may be wondering why I am starting this blog with an image of Marilyn Manson. Well, there are two main reasons I started this post with a picture of Marilyn Manson. The first is that many of the fans of Marilyn Manson as well as other people have to deal with the main issue of this particular post: bullying.
Now, I was bullied in high school, & I personally plain think that all this campaigning for antibullying policies is ridiculous & going to go overboard eventually in teaching bullies how to be better bullies, but, that's just me. But, there was an article that I read on the interwebs that ruffled so many of my feathers that I just had to rant on it in my blog. And, that brings me to the second reason I started this post with a picture of Marilyn Manson: This story that starts this post involves a boy wearing makeup (I'm assuming he was wearing makeup).
Apparently, there was a young man who is out & proud to be gay. But, in addition to being gay, he liked to wear effeminate clothing, & dressing like girl. So, in short, this kid's a drag queen (nothing wrong with that). And, because of that, he was being bullied. But, when he went to his principal about what was going on, he was told "maybe if you dressed like a normal boy, you wouldn't get picked on" & told him to "tone it down". Meanwhile, this kid was getting attacked to high hell. His mother, knowing what was going on & what the principal had said, decided to help the kid protect himself from his tormentors. She bought her son a taser gun to help him better protect himself. But, when he brought it to school with him, the school took the gun away, & now the poor kid is facing expulsion.
The first thing I thought of when I read this was complete & udder disgust, both for the bullying, for the principal's reaction, & for the homophobic comments some people posted on that article, & some of you are going to post on this particular post. And, I am disgusted with good reason too.

(*Like I said before, I do not own this picture.)
Let me tell you a little more about myself & explain why this post means a lot to me. I will also take the time to explain why there is a picture of deceased heavy metal icon Ronnie James Dio in this post as well as shock rocker Marilyn Manson in this here post.
Starting with myself:
I went to a different school district for middle & high school than elementary school (on a side note, I repeated preschool.). Partially because of this, in middle school & in high school, I had almost ziltch friends, mostly acquaintances. I had heard of Goth, the subculture I would grow up to learn that I am a born member of, when I was a young child. I had learned of it through cartoons & "clean, wholesome, family" shows who potrayed the characters in both good/bad lights. But, looking back, I was always the oddball kid. I was at one point in my life a tomboy. I'm not really a tomboy now, but, I'm kinda a tomboy a little bit. When I was in the 5th grade, one of my favorite grandparents in the whole wide world caught Alzheimers & died. Emotionally, I was devastated. It was a few months later. I was watching MTV for the first time ever, back when they showed music videos & not drunks that destroy my faith in humanity. I was so devastated over the death of my dead grandmother that I hoped to see a Green Day music video because at the time, that was my definition of depressing. Then, I saw the music video for Evanescence's "Call Me When You're Sober". And, I instantly fell in love with it. Slowly, but, surely, I discovered I was a Goth girl. I decided not to dress like I was until 15 years old.
However, the first day I ever wore "Goth Garb", I was told by my middle school to "tone it down" because I was beautiful just the way I was & "people will make fun of you". I was devastated, as that day, I had received nothing but compliments & praise for my outfit on that day. I did not dress my style again until that summer vacation.
Then, I went to high school. Which high school, I don't care who you are, high school & middle school are always a pain in the ass for everybody, & I heard enough people say it was the worst four years of their lives, so I knew it was going to be horrible going in. But, in freshman year, I had two bitchy-ass teachers, one right after the other. The first one gave me detentions which I was deathly afraid of. The other one's just a bitch that reminded me of an authorative figure whom I dare not mention his name to avoid offending the Jewish at times. But, either way, I was picking my nose & biting my fingernails a lot more than I should to calm my anxiety. Now, I know they are both really disgusting habits & am working hard to curb those revolting habits both of them. But, either way, this one boy that was in both this particular class & the next class would sing really derogatory things & basically made fun of me for picking my nose. Most of the time, I found this just really fucking annoying. Luckily, a few of my teachers reported them before my mother even found out. And, it stopped.
The kids who bullied me got detention. To this day, I somewhat hate them. But, my Asperger's Syndrome & looking back makes me worry. Were those really the only kids bullying me? Were there others that bullied me behind my back? Do they still do? And, what if it's not just my habits? What if I was & still am being mocked for being an AspieGoth?
Explanation for Dio picture:
Ronnie James Dio, in addition to many others saved me from myself as an adolescent on many occasions. Because I am an Aspie, or a "rainbow". And, I happen to be Goth, so, I'm "in the dark". I am a "Rainbow In The Dark".

(*Again, I don't own this picture of Lady Gaga. I am not goin to explain why I chose to include a picture of Lady Gaga in this post, & for all the trolls, this happens to be the best picture of Lady Gaga I could find, so, I don't wanna hear it.)
Now, you know why I am talking about this. Let me go a little further with what I am going to say: WHAT THE FUCK?????
I mean, really. Let's reflect on what mistake occured in both my & the boy's story. The boy was told to tone it down because maybe "if you dress like a normal boy your age, people won't make fun of you." I was told not to dress the way I have felt for years because I had no friends & "people will make fun of you".
And, people are going to continue to make comments like"homosexuality's a sin/choice" & "by dressing in feminine clothes, the boy was asking for it/disrupting the kids who were bullying him's right to an education". If that's your comment, I have one question for you: What country & century are you living in? Because the country I & this boy are living in is called the U.nited S.tates of A.merica, a country that was founded on free speech for all, regardless of what color your skin is (race), what spiritual presence or lack thereof you believe in (religion), what genitals you were born with (sex), what genitals you prefer (sexual orientation), your aesthetics, etc. And, what that principal did, what my guidance counselor did, when they told us what they told us was equivalent to telling us "You deserve to be abused."
I have a question for every school officiant whether they be a teacher or a school guidance counselor or a principal or a teacher's aide or whatever who has told a child not to dress a certain way because "people will make fun of you" & "maybe if you dressed like a normal (boy/girl) your age, they wouldn't make fun of you" when they were being bullied for how they dress/came dressed differently than how they typically dress: WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU SMOKING & WHAT IDIOT TAUGHT YOU HOW TO TEACH CHILDREN????????????????????????
Because they taught you wrong. It is wrong to make fun of someone just because they are dresssed differently. And, when you tell a child one of the two quotes above, it's basically like saying a girl was raped for wearing nothing but a bikini & stilletos on the day she was raped, or a person was mugged just because the day they were mugged, they were wearing expensive jewelry & a fur coat. It's blaming the victims rather than the dipshits that commit these crimes.
Here's another reason: They probably receive so much of this from their parents that they don't want to hear it from you.
And, if you would really still tell a child that, compare that particular child to a severely diarrhetic fan maker in a fan factory. Would you tell that guy to get another job? No!!!!!!!!!!! You would tell the guy to go to a doctor for his diarrhea.
I didn't think so. I also did not, am not, will not & should not explain why there is a picture of Lady Gaga on my blog. I do not, am not, will not & should not have to explain why there is a picture of Lady Gaga on my blog about antibullying,

(*No, I do not own this image. I wish I did though.)
Now, I know there is a lot of profanity here. But, being a christian, I have to make this next arguement.
JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN, ALL THE LITTLE CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD, RED & YELLOW, BLACK & WHITE, JESUS LOVES THEM ALL IN SIGHT, JESUS LOVES THE LITTLE CHILDREN, ALL THE LITTLE CHILDREN AROUND THE WORLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(*Ok, no, I don't this picture either, but, this is a relative of mine who died in 1956, so, A.) you'll see why I'm talking about her in a moment, B.) I don't think it really matters if it's an ancestor).
And, do you know why else what you are telling the children is wrong? Because it is essentially telling children "You deserve to be beaten, insulted, have your things vandalized/stolen, be threatened, insert other form of abuse here." And, kids believe it to a degree that they become depressed & attempt suicide. Other times, they get so desperate that their parents buy them stun guns or in some way, shape, or form, the situation will get much more dire than suicide (if such a thing is even possible).
Now, I would like to say something to the victims of bullying who are inevitably reading this post, as well as those who are thinking about typing "Homosexuality is a sin/choice, repent for your sins right now!" in the comment section. It is not a choice. Otherwise, every person on this planet would be gay, & humans would become endangered species. Not one of the many people that claim to be gay ever woke up one morning when they were four years old & thought "I am going to be gay when I grow up."
In the same light, never once when I was four years old did I ever wake up in the morning & say "I am going to be a Goth when I grow up." Neither did Marilyn Manson ever wake up as a child & say "I am going to be people's worst nightmare when I grow up." Neither did Lady Gaga ever wake up as a child & say "I am going to dress in fashions so ridiculous I'll be the both the fashion queen & laughingstock of Hollywood at the same time when I grow up." Nor did Ronnie James Dio ever wake up when he was a child & say "I am going to turn an italian good luck-bad luck hand gesture into one of rock music's most iconic rituals."
And, now, here's the story on the final picture: It's my great-great aunt. She had diabetes & because of it, she had her one leg cut off at the knee. She grew up to be one of those performers who took her prosthetic off for the amusement of the crowd for the troops. Never once as a child did she wake up & say "I am going to take my leg off for the amusement of others when I grow up."
To children being bullied:Whatever they are bullying you for, remember, it is probably something no one, not even you have much, or any, control. I am not going to bullshit you by saying "It gets better", even though 75% of the time, it does get better. Because you probably will hear it from a million other people. But, tell yourself this: I will not receive shit from the shit I do not, can not, & will not have the ability to control.

End Of A Book Reflections: Fear Of The Unknown
Okay. I apologize for the lapse in posts on this blog. There is really no excuse for that. But, somehow, I was too busy with a lot of personal & literary & creative matters to write on my blog. So, that's my excuse. At the moment, I had a long day, & just finished typing a chapter in The Devil Horn's Toss. So, just bear with me, I'd rather be finishing the final chapters of Savant & working on the musical that replaced The Devil Horns' Toss right now.
But, as this post suggests, I have finished The Devil Horns' Toss. And, I will be reflecting on the overall theme of the book. Now, this reflection I promise will be a little less ranty than Borders & Envelopes' end of book reflections, because The Devil Horns' Toss is a lot weirder than Borders & Envelopes was.
Anyway, the main theme of The Devil Horns' Toss was the Unknown. But, looking at all my manuscripts, that is a common theme in a lot of my books/movies/plays. So, I looked deeper in the manuscript. And, I found the overall main theme of the book was Fear of The Unknown. So, that's what this'll be about.
Either way, the fear of the unknown is what has drove the forces of mankind & all other life forms except cells & plants. And, not all of the ways the fear of the unknown drive mankind & all animals are good. Most of the time, it leads to wild/injured animals attacking humans/other wild/domestic animals/inanimate objects. Now, do not get me wrong. Humans expierience it too. A perfect example of humans being negatively affected by the fear of the unknown is the driving of many wierd & wonderful animals to extinction/near extinction. Another perfect two examples of humans being negatively affected by the fear of the unknown that probably suits this summary of The Devil Horns' Toss best is postmedia reactions to Columbine & the reactions of many extremist pseudochristian churches to heavy metal/rock n' roll bands such as (oh, I don't know...) Marilyn Manson, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath, Rolling Stones, (insert other band names that have faced churches picketing their concerts here).
In The Devil Horns' Toss, the main character is a member in a rock n' roll band whose girlfriend & band mates are kidnapped by Mephistopheles. His evilness then challenges the main character to a game of bowling. Throughout the book, the main character is going through a lot of fear of the unknown. He doesn't know how to bowl, so, he is afraid to lose the game. And, more importantly, he is afraid because he doesn't know what's going to happen next.

Happy Belated 237th Birthday America!!!!: A Monologue
Hello. Today is Thursday, July 5th, 2012. Yesterday was July 4th, or as it is called here "Independence Day". For those of you in other countries, Independence Day is another way of saying the 237th anniversary of this nation's founding. Most countries in the world don't have an Independence Day because they aren't democracies or they have been nations for over 1,000 years, and the exact date of the countries founding is unknown, & guessing would be inaccurate. Before I go on, would like to warn you not to take what I am about to say seriously, as this is like one of those Hallmark funny cards that's sold for birthdays.
Ahh... America, what can I possibly say? 237 years ago yesterday, a pack of about 17 or so white guys decided to write a paper that in a nutshell said "Fuck you England" & send it to the king of England at the time, King George III. Thus began a war that led to the forming of a (in my opinion being an American) great nation. A nation that decides to make everyone spend money they don't have on a daily basis. A nation that tells its people what foods can kill them, yet sells this killer food at the cheapest prices. A nation that can decide in a national survey that a shock rocker is far more frightning than a woman that possibly murdered her own two-year-old daughter.
But, who am I to say the problems with this nation? Other than those minor flaws, you are still beautiful. So, I would like to propose a toast. Here's to the 237 years America has been a nation! And, here's to another 237 years! HAPPY BELATED 237th BIRTHDAY TO THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!!!!!!!! HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A Decision...
Hello. I officially am typing to kill some minutes & because I have a follow up to an announcement I made in another post. Well, Goth For Sale is officially in third place. So, I am probably going to blog more about life through the eyes of a member of an alternative subculture from now on. Probably.
Well, I was only typing this to avoid typing, because I will not be typing The Devil Horn's Toss or Savant for a while, & I need to type something. For those of you paying attention, I usually do weekly posts. I may try to do some comments to resist the urge to type, so, watch your own blogs. I may show up on yours. ;-)

Goth For Sale: What To Do When Your Subculture/A Part of Your Subculture Hits the Stores & Becomes Popular & An Important LandMark Event For Goths Like Me That Happened to Me Over The Weekend
Hello. Today is Monday June 25th, 2012. It is a perfect day to dispense some advice for people of alternative subcultures that relate to something that happened to me & a lot of Goths, Punks, Steampunks, Vampyrs, etc. over last week. Before I do either of those things, however, I would like to make an important announcement.
I just went onto my computer, & decided to check my beloved AspieGoth Blog. I suspected that I would have more views. AND, BY GOLLY, I WAS RIGHT! I have successfully reached 77 views, none of which are my own. The post that has received the most "fanfare" I guess it can safely be called is What Every Alternative Subculture Needs with 18 page views, with Sex-And-The-City Tangent #3 running a close second with 16 page views. There is no third-place yet. But, this is sort of Good to know. Thank You
Now, without further ado, on with the post.
As most of you who wear lipstick/lip gloss are aware, darker shades of both (i.e. black, maroon, plum, purple, etc.) of the makeup staples came into the fashion world earlier than expected this year. This happens to every Alternative Subculture, whether it be black/dark lipstick/lip gloss for Goths, Band Tees for certain rock groups for the Metal fans, hell, even chains for Punks, Skaters, Juggalos, members of the Hip Hop subculture, from time to time. And, I am sure a lot of you who are faithful to nonconformity are extremely up in arms about this. After all, it in your mind "ruins the idea of being a nonconformist & makes it more of a corporate thing rather than a freedom of speech/expression thing." However, I am here to tell you what to do when that particular situation comes about. I have taken this advice from The Lady Of The Manners (www.gothic-charm-school.com) & this is difficult to do, so, unlike her, I'll give the long version.
But, basically, when anything that is part of your subculture becomes fashionable/your subculture becomes the fashion norm, there is only one thing you can do: RUN LIKE YOUR PUBIC HAIR IS ON FIRE TO THE NEAREST STORE SELLING THE ITEM & GO TO THE CLEARANCE SECTION!
Of course, there are at least three steps to this. While I tell you to do these three simple steps, I will tell you the story of what happened on Friday.

- Do Some Research On The Said Product's Usual Distributors. I & my mother had planned this trip after I had read that black/darker lipstick/lip gloss was coming back into fashion from at least two magazines while waiting for my hair to get done. Remembering reading from Gothic Charm School that when this happens (and with the world's economy being the way it is) it usually means these such items are ridiculously cheap, we decided to do this in the evening. Too excited about knowing that I was buying black lipstick (I feel way too old to wear lip gloss.) for the very first time in my life the very next day, I immediately went online to find out which brand I wanted the most. That's where I discovered that MAC was all out of it's signature black lipstick (:,,,-()). I told my mom this. And, we agreed not to go there first.
- Go Shopping Until You Find A Deal You Are Aware Is The Deal. After doing some errands in the morning & afternoon, we went to the Mall. Our first stop was at Ulta, a mainstream store that for all of you unfamiliar with Ulta, is a combination of Walmart & the makeup department of Macy's. Well, we checked the Urban Decay section of the store. And, they had no black lipstick. We checked MAC & the rest of the makeup department at Macy's. Sure enough, the darkest shades they had were browns, maroons, purples, & wines. So, we went to J.C. Penny's. After learning that J.C. Penny's didn't have the lipstick, we finally decided to go to Hot Topic.
- Go For The Deal, Even If There Are Cliches/Contradictions Attached. Well, we went to Hot Topic. The instant we went in, I discovered that Hot Topic is beginning to come to its senses, & go back to its old ways. But, once we were in for a moment, I discovered why. It was because of two (2) reasons: 1) The vampire phenomenon, 2)Marilyn Manson either finally grew his balls back, or he read my mind/blog, & is really trying hard for the comeback that I as an artist/hard rock fan believe he so richly deserves. It was playing his music when we entered. I was terrified, and we went to the back of the store, thinking it was back there. But, Mom found where the makeup & the (tada!) black lipstick was before I did. So, I marched up when she realized where the makeup was (right beside the place of payment) right to the makeup. It turns out the Blackheart collection at Hot Topic sells all makeup for $5.00. So, not only did I get my black lipstick, I got some red lipstick, & I got some eyeliner.
- That is the story of the first time I have ever bought black lipstick. Thank you & goodbyee.

Sex-And-The-City Tangent #3
Hey. I was just needing to blog to keep from typing for tonight. But, in the meantime, those of you who have seen my Sex-And-The-City Tangent will notice this Tangent is not about rock music or any subcultures. However, it is about the media, which these things are usually on. And, like Carrie Bradshaw on the television series 'Sex-And-The-City', I will ask more than one question that is to be taken rhetorically.
Okay. I was just watching TV. And, I came across a channel on commercial break. And, I discovered an episode of a children's show had appeared, & the show was now over in two minutes. It was an episode I've never seen fully but I've seen before. But, the television show is called 'Fairly Oddparents'. The episode was called 'Land Before Timmy' (A side note: This is a cartoon show). I'll end this paragraph, & the link will be under the paragraph. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairly_Oddparents
Either way, in this particular episode, Timmy had a really rough day technology-wise. So, he wishes for life to have no technology. And, they send him back to a time similar to the stone age, where everything is worse. And, then, some volcanoes erupt, so, he wishes for technology back.
Now, this episode has been on at least several times already. And, I have just finally started to wonder Can humankind live without any technology whatsoever now? Or, would that make us neanderthalistic (new term coined by me) in nature?

Sex-And-The-City Tangent #1.5: Yet Another Follow-up to Sex-And-The-City Tangent #1 (Thanks, Metallica)
Hello again, everyone. I am in a much better mood today despite the fact that I only think I have received 16 more views because I Google-Recommended myself.
Anyway, this is the second follow up to Sex-And-The-City Tangent #1. Now, I feel like a person with intellectual disabilities for posting Madonna Read My Blog, because now, I doubt Madonna's ever even been on Blogger. But, like the Labels say, this is about Metallica.
I'm pretty sure that all of you have heard about the girl who was kidnapped, raped (this part I doubt because I didn't do research on the case because I'm not a psychopath, as hard as it is to believe), & murdered outside the Metallica concert. And, if you haven't, tough, because I currently have nine things open on my computer at the moment, three of which are Word files, & I am not opening anymore, And would like to finish this before my therapist arrives in (oh, fuck) thirty minutes, and she does not know about this blog. Neither does my mother, & she's here. And, because I'd like it to stay that way, I am going to make this brief.
But, the band Metallica decided that because she disappeared from outside their concert, they should offer a $40,000.00 reward for anyone who could find her. When cops discovered her corpse, James Hetfield released a PSA (public service announcement for our foreign readers) asking people for information on the whereabouts of the guy who killed her.
Now, I know that Metallica & Marilyn Manson only share the first letter of the band. But, had this had been at a Marilyn Manson concert, things would be WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY different. Mainly, the lead singer would be filming a PSA that's slightly similar to the PSA Micheal Jackson filmed during the child molestation trial.
Now, just like Sex-and-The-City Tangent #1, I'm just trying to bring up a question That question remains the same:When did music lose that independent "You're not the boss of me" streak it had almost 20-40 years ago? Is music written by vocal people for one confused by things like the moral majority? Or, is music written to please the moral majority?

Letting The Demon Baby Out: Why Marilyn Manson Should Get More Fanfare Than He Has Received
Okay before I go on to today's post, I have a few disclaimers:
On the show in my mind, A Gothic Tomboy From Pittsburgh, there is an episode in which Julie (*I changed her name because I wanted to. In the show, she is really Raven from the original Teen Titans, and another bombshell that is just me rambling on to make this longer that is slightly related to this, in this show, she ends up getting pregnant by Marilyn Manson. That's related in what I will reveal in a minute.) begins to have nightmares. When I hear about them, I take out my iPad & go on one of my dream interpretation apps. She tells me that at the end of the dream, she was attacked by a demon baby. (A side note: I looked this up in real life, so, I know it's true.) What I determined was there was a new, forbidding part of her life beginning that scared her. I told her this was her mind telling her to let the "demon baby" out.
After that, I told her that's what her baby daddy did.
And, in a way, Marilyn Manson did "let the demon baby out". He does it so often that we miss it. That is Reason Du Jour of why Marilyn Manson should receive a whole lot more fanfare than he has been given so far.
Another reason that Marilyn Manson deserves more than what he has received so far is that every celebrity should get at least fifteen minutes of fame. I know Madonna has had at least a whole half-an-hour of fame. Rihanna, Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus, etc., it feels like they have received twenty years of fame. While, Marilyn Manson, rather unfairly I gotta say, only received two-fourths of a millisecond of fame.
Which brings me to my next/final reason/point: Marilyn Manson faded out of the public's line of giving a damn about in a very unfair way due to unfair circumstances. I know there are those of you out there in countries like Russia & Germany probably wondering "What the *$#% is this American bitch talking about? Marilyn Manson is still relevant where I live, & no circumstances or ways that are unfair are making him less relevant here. What makes him not on the public's line of giving a *$#%?" Well, it's very off-topic & kind of a long, painful story that I will only tell you is the third-to-last label of this particular post.
Which, speaking of unrelated & off-topic subjects. Does anyone remember my post Madonna Read My Blog? Well, that post is related because it is clearly irrelevant to everything the public holds dear. It it the post before this one. It didn't give me any views whatsoever. It might've gotten me some views, but, I highly doubt it. I didn't even get a comment on it. I doubt I'll get a comment on this one. But, it's because Marilyn Manson has been deemed a "has-been" by American Hollywood. Madonna never was and I hate to admit it but probably never will be deemed a "has-been" by American Hollywood. In addition to using a celebrity's name, I tried my best to use my social filter a little more than Madonna uses her social filter & a whole lot more than Marilyn Manson uses his social filter. And, still, I get nothing. I didn't get more views. I didn't get any people sharing any of my posts on Twitter, Facebook, or Google. I didn't get a like or a comment from Facebook or Google. I didn't get any attention on Blogger. I didn't get anyone offering to follow my blog. I didn't even get a comment on my blog! Now, you understand my frustration with Pop culture.
Hey,....I just found a way to make Marilyn Manson less irrelevant to Madonna: Both Madonna & Marilyn Manson have "let the demon baby out". I mean, Madonna just showed some random french politician with a swastika drawn on his forehead in Israel. To add more irony to the controversy before I list what Marilyn did, Madonna's religion is Kabbalah or for people in other countries, Jewish Scientology, aka Madonna herself is Jewish. Marilyn Manson tore pages from the holy scriptures in various towns*, with the exception of in Salt Lake City, it was the Book of Mormon*. In both cases, not only did they "let the demon baby out", Madonna breastfed the demon baby, Marilyn Manson (and forgive me for not saying "he" or "it" once) grabbed the demon baby, Marilyn Manson put a collar around the demon baby's neck, Marilyn Manson put a leash on the collar on the demon baby's neck, and then, Marilyn Manson proceeded to walk the demon baby like the demon baby was a dog or an African child walking his pet tarantula.
You too can "let the demon baby out". Now, granted, the examples given above are EXTREME. But, still these are examples. There are other ways to "let the demon baby out" too. You could wear a beach dress to a formal, black tie wedding. You could wear only pink to a funeral. You could buy a pet tarantula. I once "let the demon baby out" not intending to "let the demon baby out". I wore a tshirt and a pair of sweat pants to a baby's baptism once years ago. Granted, if my dad told me it was a baby's baptism, I would've got more dressed up.
But, there's my inspiration to you. Let the demon baby out. Don't be afraid to. And, letting the demon baby out includes sharing this blog or commenting on it. Bye for now.
*Or, so I'm told.
- I am not now nor have I ever been a Marilyn Manson fan. And, Marilyn Manson is not Goth, he is Heavy Metal. But, I am defending him for purposes I'd rather not get into right now.
- Expect to hear more about Marilyn Manson in blogs to come. I perseverate on him a lot.
- I don't want for this post to turn into Sex-And-The-City tangent #3. So, I decided to include a grievance I have about my last blog post.
- I just finished typing a couple of pages in both Borders & Envelopes and The Devil Horn's Toss, and typing took up most of my weekend and morning. And, I have some chores to do. So, needless to say, I don't want to type anymore today other than Facebook statuses & text messages, and this is going to feel tedious to me. So, just bare with me here.

Madonna Read My Blog?!
Okay. Before anyone tries to disagree, I would like to say the following story is hypothetical, realistic fiction. But, either way, I prepared some illustrations to help move this story along.
So, Madonna* was working on her new album and tour. She got tired and bored. So, she decided to find a blog to read. And, she just happened to come across my blog.
Unfortunately, she happened to come across The Aspiegoth blog when I had just finished my first Sex-And-The-City Tangent. That was what she ended up reading. And, much to everyone's surprise, she got to thinking.
Now, Madonna being Madonna, Madonna felt she had to do something. So, she thought about her tour and things she could do to help.
The decision of where the first concert of her MDNA tour complete & over with, Madonna started to decide on how to help Lady Gaga look innocent in the eyes of Indonesia's religious right and make her look like an even worse influence on Indonesian youths.
And, that is why I think Madonna made some of the decisions she's made recently.
*I mean Madonna the singer.
**Although, in hindsight, Madonna seems to be the type of gal that uses the term "pussies". I just used the least offensive term I could think of to use as I am not Madonna and I have to use the social filter or else I'll get banned from the internet or something.
The End

Sex-And-The-City Tangeant#2: Conformity ProgrammersPart 1: Why I Personally Hate Children's shows now
Hello Again everyone. The Sex-And-The-City Tangent #1 about Lady Gaga got me a lot of views. And, I got an idea on to talk about how society has gave out children the message that all alternative subcultures are bad, and teaching our children that it is okay to be a conformist only. But, I was going to do a rant. But, instead, I decided to make another Sex-And-The-City Tangent. Here it is:
I watch a lot of television. Sometimes, I watch children's channels. But, the children's channels I watch have no qualms about Alterophobia. In fact they always degrade the all black figures. Don't believe me? Here are some examples from the Disney show:
I watch a lot of television. Sometimes, I watch children's channels. But, the children's channels I watch have no qualms about Alterophobia. In fact they always degrade the all black figures. Don't believe me? Here are some examples from the Disney show:
- The Disney Channel always shows the people dressed in all black as monsters. There was an episode of Hannah Montana dedicated to this theory that Goths/people into Heavy Metal are violent, stereotypes that probably formed post-Columbine.
- In fact, there is an episode of Hannah Montana (not the one mentioned above, I'd include a link to that one, bu, I can't find it. The episode I am talking about is a different episode.) where the school bully is a Goth girl.
- It's not just Hannah Montana. There was a recent episode of a show called Shake It Up on my television set. The main characters were being portrayed as bad people, pulling a little boy's hair, growling at him, & then eating his birthday cake. That's not what was Alterophobic about this episode. What was Alterophobic about this episode is that the girls were dressed in all black while doing all those foul deeds.
- There is a show on Nickelodeon called Victorious starring Victoria Justice. Her rival is Jade, a girl whom I'm guessing is supposed to be a Goth girl. But, she is portrayed as a jerk, contrary to what most Goths/people in alternative subcultures actually are in every single episode.
- There was an episode of iCarly in which Carly dressed up like a punk/Goth to try to discourage her grandfather from taking custody of her. And, then, her grandfather says that just because she is dressed as a Punk/Goth, she'll do terrible, horrible, no-good crimes.

In A Suburban Home: A Story I Read That Inspired Me
Okay. I was wanting to receive the more views on this blog. And, the last post was sort of depressing. So, I wanted to enlighten all of you with a story I read many years ago. It was turned into a book, but, I decided to retell it & I forget the title & author's name. So, here's In A Suburban Home:
Once there was a Middle American town known as Ho-humville. Ho-humville was a quiet town filled with only the most corperate jobs & the most corperate businesses run by the most mundane people. And, these mundane people lived in all the same house painted & built the same size, shape, & color.
One day, a seagull was flying in the neighboring town of Cape Our Lady Of Guadalupe. The seagull flew over a fish market next to the town's dock to the ocean. It hovered down, & picked up a bucket of salmon-pink paint. The store owner & the painter were in a heated argument over whether to paint the store ambrosia or cerulean, so, they didn't notice the bird fly off with the paint. Well, the seagull didn't get very far, I tell you what. Eventually, it got to Ho-humville. And, when it did, its feet were too weak to carry such a big bucket. So, it dropped the bucket of paint. However, it happened to drop the bucket on the roof of fellow pencil pusher Mr. Johnson's roof.
Mr. Johnson was horrified when he first noticed the pink paint on his black shingles & white walls. But, then, he got an idea. He went to the hardware store, found the exact same shade of salmon pink, & headed home. The next day, there was a fuss all around the neighborhood and the whole town. Mr. Johnson was painting his whole house salmon pink!
A lot of people showed up to see what Mr Johnson was doing. The Home Owners Association threatened to evict him unless he changed his house back to the way it was before. The police threatened to arrest him. The local pastor even shook the holy scriptures & threatened that Mr Johnson was condemned to go to hell unless he kept his house the way it was before.
But, Mr Johnson said to all of them "My house is me, & I am it, & my house is all my dreams. Nothing you can do or say can keep me from following my heart in a suburban home."
When Mr. Johnson said this, the whole town thought he went crazy. There was one person who wasn't appalled by Mr. Johnson's actions was his next door neighbor on the left, Mr. Smith. He was also a pencil pusher who was fighting boredom. And, he always wanted to see the ocean. So, he went to the hardware store and purchased some blue paint.
The next day, Mr Smith began to paint blue waves onto his house. Mr Johnson had finished painting his house salmon & was painting his shingles orange. The whole town had decided to leave Mr. Johnson alone. But, they didn't leave Mr Smith alone. This time, local children at school were receiving extra credit for writing letters to Mr. Smith to try to convince him to change his house back.
But, Mr. Smith said to all of them "My house is me, & I am it, & my house is all my dreams. Nothing you can do or say can keep me from following my heart in a suburban home."
The town thought Mr. Smith had lost his mind. There was one person besides Mr Johnson that understood. And, that was Ms. Jones. She was Mr. Johnson's neighbor on the right. She was also a secretary that always loved spring. So, she went to the hardware store & bought spring green paint.
Mr. Johnson was now re shingling & painting the roof. Mr. Smith was now painting a sea green on his house where there was once white. The town was leaving them alone. But, when they caught wind of what Ms. Jones was doing, they protested. The PTO even formed an angry mob around the door, threatening to press federal charges unless she changed her house back.
Ever persistent, Ms. Jones said to all of them "My house is me, & I am it, & my house is all my dreams. Nothing you can say or do can keep me from following my dream in a suburban home."
The town assumed she had also lost her mind. So, they left her alone. Mrs. Miller, a retired schoolteacher who lived across the street from Mr. Johnson, was watching closely. She had always loved sunsets, & had always wanted to paint her house like one. She bought the yellow-orange paint. But, due to her advanced age, she hired three high school boys to do it.
Again, the town protested. This time, the local nursing home threatened to admit her unless she changed her house back.
Mrs. Miller was older & much wiser than most of the mere mortal town folks. "My house is me, & I am it, & my house is all my dreams. Nothing you do or say can keep me from following my heart in a suburban home."
And so, the pattern continued until each & every house was a unique work of art. And, in the process, more jobs were created that weren't as mundane & corporate. Eventually, they changed the name of the town from Ho-humville to Wonderland.
THE END
Hopefully, this inspired you as much as it did me.
